Initial Impression started in 1983 as an engraving and award recognition company. Over the years, we have morphed into a full service promotional products company. We specialize in not only satisfying the small to medium size businesses and Fortune 500 companies, but we are also specialists with experience in hospitality/tourism, biotech/pharmaceutical, Indian casinos, meetings/events, non-profit organizations, and establishing national account programs with an emphasis in national multi-location or home based franchises.
We have invested a lot of time and resources to make sure that we have all the tools, technology, relationships, and creative flair to work with any organization.
We are a family business spanning two generations and across 25 years. This isn't just a business to us. Initial Impression's staff and customers are truly a part of our family as well.
Our involvement in various organizations has enabled us to not only be active in the community, but to help provide assistance to our customers. We are active members of the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau, San Diego East County Visitors Bureau, Meeting Professionals International, International Franchise Association Supplier Forum, Association of Mail & Parcel Centers, SDSU's EMC Business Forum, and on the Board of The San Diego Women's Foundation and the San Diego Affiliate for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Our philanthropic efforts have helped to raise not only awareness, but significant money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, through the 3 Day Walk for Breast Cancer, as well as the San Diego Race for the Cure, with participants and teams since 2003. In addition to also participating in other local fundraising walks and events, we have helped other organizations, and the participants in those organizations' fundraising events across the country, to raise money through products as well.
